Windies "A" scores consolation win over India "A"

The West Indies 'A' held on for a 5 run consolation victory over India 'A' in the 4th match of their 5-match 50 over series at the Coolidge Cricket Ground in Antigua on Friday. Batting first, the Windies 'A' turned in their best batting performance of the series to date, making 298-9. Captain Roston Chase topscored with 84 while Devon Thomas made 70 and Jonathan Carter 50. Sunil Ambris also contributed 46. Khaleel Ahmed was the pick of the India "A" bowlers with 4-67.

In reply, the Windies 'A' restricted the Indians to 293-9 with Axar Patel top scoring with 81 and Krunal Pandya and Washington Sundar making 45 each. Rovman Powell and Keemo Paul took 2 wickets each for the Windies 'A'. The 5th and final match of the series will be played on Sunday.
