Windies aim for final spot at U19 World Cup

The West Indies will be looking to match their best ever Under-19 ICC World Cup tournament performance by reaching the final with a win against hosts Bangladesh in the second semi final on Wednesday night starting at 9:30 Jamaica time.

It has been 12 years since the regional team reached its first and only final, where they lost to Pakistan.

The West Indies will be looking to join India who beat Asian rivals Sri Lanka to reach the championship match for a fifth time.

India posted 267-9, and Sri Lanka who had a poor start after slipping to 42-3, battled to 170 in 42.2 overs.
