Windies and Pakistan set for 50th test at Sabina Park

Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Renardo Brown

Pakistan and the West Indies are set for the historic 50th test to be played at Sabina Park, with both teams wrapping up preparations ahead of Friday's start.

When West Indies and Pakistan last met, the Caribbean side avoided a series whitewash in the United Arab Emirates with a five wicket win in Sharjah.

The West Indies have made five changes to their squad that toured the UAE last October, including the addition of two uncapped players, one of whom is ICC Under-19 World Cup winning captain Shimron Hetmyer.

There has been rain around over the past few days but the pitch at Sabina Park based on reports, should be good.

The match is set to start at 10:00 am local time.
