Windies begin ODI series against Bangladesh

The West Indies will be hunting their first ODI series win in four years when they oppose Bangladesh in the first game of the three match series in Dhaka on Sunday morning Jamaica time. Coincidentally, the Caribbean men's last ODI series win was against the Bangladeshis in the Caribbean but the last time both teams met, the Asians got by the Windies 2-1 in the Caribbean.

The last time both teams met on the sub-continent in 2012, Bangladesh got by the Windies 3-2. The game will see Jamaican all-rounder Rovman Powell leading the team in the absence of the injured Jason Holder and a return for Trinidadian batsman Darren Bravo. The game bowls off at 2:00 am Jamaica time.

The second and third matches in the series will be played on December 11 and 14 in Dhaka and Sylhet respectively.
The West Indies will wrap up the Bangladesh tour with three Twenty20 Internationals.
