Windies crush Afghanistan in one-off test

The West Indies have been victorious in their one-off test match against Afghanistan by 9 wickets on day three in the opening session in Lucknow, India on Friday morning. Afghanistan who began the day on 109-7, a lead of 19 runs, were eventually bowled out for 120 inside 44 overs.

Jason Holder took the last three wickets to end with figures of 3-20. The Windies raced to their target of 31 in 6.2 overs with John Campbell top- scoring with 19. Rahkeem Cornwall won the Man of the Match award after taking 10-121. Scores in the match: Afghanistan 187 and 120; the West Indies 277 and 33-1. 

The West Indies will now turn their attention to a three match T20 Series against India which bowls off on December 6.
