Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Spencer Darlington

Last year's champion two year old Wow Wow is on course to make a clean sweep of the BG&LC Toba Yearling Sales Series, after an easy victory in the second leg over  6 and furlongs on Saturday at Caymanas Park. The mighty Wow Wow with his favourite jockey Ameth Robles astride, chalked up his ninth consecutive victory from ten starts, posting 1:18:2, easing up in the last 100 metres for a 2-length victory.

Meanwhile, the fleet-footed Patriarch ridden by another former champion jockey Dane Nelson, made it a gate to wire affair to give his new connections victory in the $1.15 million Open Allowance race over the five straight course.

Patriarch who was claimed from Anthony Nunes by trainer Fitzgerald Richards on behalf of owner, Vincent Maine on January 4, recorded his third consecutive victory over the distance, posting 58.2 to win for a length and three-quarters. Racing continues next Saturday.
