Report by RJRGLEANER Communications Group Sports Reporter Spencer Darlington

American Christopher Rodriquez and Jamaica's Nico Yeyo recorded technical knockout victories over their opponents on the I-Fight Promotions 8-fight card dubbed "A Night of Explosive Boxing" at the JC Auditorium on Saturday. The 22 year old south-paw Rodriquuez who is highly rated by his camp as one for the future, impressed in the welterweight division after handing 44 year old Jamaican Martin Anderson his tenth loss from 14 fights.

Anderson refused to answer the bell for third round, giving Rodriquez his second straight TKO. Yeyo also recorded back to back knock out wins, after he floored the hapless Darren Weir in one of the two all-Jamaican clashes on the cards in the super-welterweight clash.

Referee Owen Nelson stopped the fight 2 minutes and 48 seconds into the first round, as the Stanley Couch Gym boxer celebrated his second career knock out victory.
