Young Reggae Girls depart for CONCACAF Championship

Jamaica's Under-20 Reggae Girlz will depart the island on Monday to Trinidad and Tobago for the 2018 edition of the CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship. The Jamaicans are in Group ‘B’ of the tournament where they will face USA, Mexico and Nicaragua.

Their first game will be on Friday against Mexico at the Ato Boldon Stadium in Couva. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals of the competition and from there, the two finalists and third place winner will qualify for the FIFA Women's U-20 World Cup in France. Jamaica's best finish in this tournament was 4th in 2006.
