The world premiere of the documentary Journey, Break Every Rule, a tribute to former Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller was held at the Carib 5 cinema in Cross Roads on Sunday.
Among those in attendance were the lady of the hour Mrs Simpson Miller, Former Governor General Kenneth Hall, Former Prime Minister P.J. Patterson, Opposition Leader Dr. Peter Phillips and the documentary's producer and director, Lennie Little-White.
A delighted Little-White explained that Jamaica's first female prime minister represents three 'P's, persistence, productivity, and (putting) people first.
The soundtrack included songs from Jimmy Cliff, Shaggy and Tarrus Riley.
Mrs Simpson Miller has broken barriers as Jamaica's first female leader of government, and Jamaica's first female prime minister.
