"Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance" gets good ratings

From the casting to the dialogue, the Lifetime TV movie "Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance," which aired Sunday night, gave fans lots to talk about, with one reviewer calling it "a brain-numbing charmer."

With its dramatization of the couple's love story, the network cashed in on the excitement surrounding the upcoming royal wedding between Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.

The casting of Murray Fraser and Parisa Fitz-Henley as the couple also got the thumbs up based on social media reactions.

Markle's nuptials to Harry is considered groundbreaking as she is not only of mixed race, but is an American, divorced and is seen as a commoner.

The movie, however, revealed that Markle would supposedly not be the first royal with black heritage, making reference to Queen Charlotte who ruled for 60 years until her death in 1818.

The official ceremony for the fairytale wedding takes place this Saturday.
