Khxos
US-based dancehall artiste Khxos is adding his voice to the colourism conversation with the release of his new EP, Melanin.
The EP's title is taken from one of the featured tracks with vocals from dancehall star Konshens.
Melanin EP also features collaborations with Royal Blu, Blvk H3ro and Zagga.
In an interview with The Gleaner newspaper, Khxos, 28, noted that the inspiration for the song came from a conversation with a friend about black men's preference for light skinned women.
The five-track EP follows the release of his 2018 album, Dopamine.
