Reggae legend Bob Marley died 36 years ago today

Today marks the 36th year since the passing of reggae legend Bob Marley.
    
The man known for bringing the nation together with one song, One Love, passed away at the at Cedars of Lebanon Hospital in Miami (now University of Miami Hospital).
    
The spread of melanoma to his lungs and brain led to his untimely death at the age of 36.
    
His final words reportedly to his son Ziggy were "Money can't buy life."
    
His greatest hits album Legend is the best selling reggae album of all time.

One Love ice-cream

To mark the anniversary of his death, ice-cream company Ben & Jerry’s has released a brand new flavour celebrating Bob Marley’s legacy.

The flavour is called Bob Marley’s One Love and will be sold in Scoop Shops and grocery stores across the United States.

One Love incorporates banana ice cream with caramel and graham cracker swirls and fudge peace signs.
