The RJR Gleaner Communications Group has released second quarter results which show a decline in profit.
It recorded J$12 million profit during the July to September period compared to $66.5 million during the same period last year.
The company said the results were influenced by the continued softness in spend from major advertisers in the financial, beverage, foods, telecommunications and retail sectors.
The RJR Gleaner Group says, while some success in improving revenue in the second quarter has been seen, there is a lag time before it realizes the full effects of other revenue measures.
