In Wednesday's trading session, the JSE Index declined by 45 points, to close at 158,427.
The Junior Market Index declined by 34 points, to close at 2 ,200.
There was trading in 38 stocks, of which 15 advanced, 16 declined and seven traded firm.
JMMB Group 7.50 per cent preference shares was the volume leader, followed by Lasco Financial Services and Lasco Manufacturing.
