Michael Lee-Chin

Michael Lee-Chin, Chairman of the Economic Growth Council, has criticised the Government for failing to successfully  the application management and data automation (AMANDA) software.

He said the software, which had an initial completion date of March 2015, is a critical component in helping Jamaica achieve the 'five in four' economic growth target.

It is also important to Jamaica's ranking in the Doing Business Report.

The AMANDA software is the responsibility of the Ministry of Local Government, the National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA), the Planning Institute of Jamaica (PIOJ), and Jamaica Promotions Corporation (JAMPRO).
