Make use of new factory space JMEA President urges

Richard Pandohie

Richard Pandohie, President of the Jamaica Manufacturers and Exporters Association, is urging his members to make use of factory space now available for the productive sector.

He says the state agency, Factories Corporation of Jamaica, has delivered on its mandate and it's time for manufacturers to take advantage of the opportunities.

In that connection, he has highlighted 13 new factory spaces that were created at Torrington as prime examples of these new opportunities, ideal for small manufacturers.

“We hope those spaces will be occupied soon because… if we ask for it, we have to utilize it, and then ask for more,” he said.
