Oil prices rebound

Oil prices rebounded on Wednesday, with U.S. benchmark crude looking to break its record 12-session streak of declines as traders weigh rising crude supplies against lingering questions about demand.

West Texas Intermediate oil for December delivery rose $1.16, to $56.85 a barrel, after settling Tuesday at $55.69 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
