The Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) will today open bids for the supply of 37 megawatts of electricity generation from renewable energy resources.
The bidding process closes at 3.00 p.m., followed by the public opening of the documents.
On July 31 last year, the OUR issued a Request for Proposals from local and international interests to supply renewable energy resources on a Build, Own and Operate basis.
This will complete a process, started in 2012, to identify entities to submit proposals for the supply of one or more energy plants of varying configurations.
