France-based petroleum company, Rubis, which has operations in Jamaica, is reporting 14 perc ent global growth in volume for the fourth quarter. Revenue was up one per cent.
Rubis says its consolidated revenue totaled 712 million euros, despite the fall in prices of petroleum products, unfavourable weather conditions and changes in scope.
The company's Caribbean operations, including Jamaica, recorded a four per cent increase in volume.
Volumes of fuel for large accounts and aviation fuel were particularly strong, due in part to new contracts.
