The Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch is conducting a major operation across sections of the Corporate Area targeting illegal transport operators.
The initiative is being conducted in collaboration with the Island Traffic Authority.
The team is conducting operations in Cross Roads as well as Half Way Tree.
Senior Superintendent Calvin Allen, head of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, said special attention will be paid to vehicles which are not roadworthy.
Motorcyclists, especially those not wearing helmets, will also come under scrutiny.
