Coroner for Kingston and St. Andrew, Patrick Murphy is now addressing the jury in the Inquest into the death of former Senior Superintendent of Police Dathan Henry who died on May 6, 2012 after falling ill.
The seven-member jury being directed by Murphy consists of four women and three men.
At the time of his death Henry was only days away from being promoted to Assistant Commissioner.
It was widely speculated that the Senior Superintendent was poisoned.
Overseas tests conducted on the body concluded that a chemical used in rat poisoning was detected..
Prior to that a Government pathologist stated in his report that the cause of death was due to a mixture of poisoning.
