Roosevelt Thomas, the father of the three year-old girl who was killed in St. James, is to be questioned Thursday. He turned himself in to the police Wednesday night.
The community of Flower Hill in St. James remains in shock following the death of three year old Leashay Thomas. Leashay was found dead Tuesday morning at Dump Up beach in the parish.
RJR News visited the family house Thursday morning where relatives cried openly. Chrisann Campbell, who recently moved back to the community, recalled that the last moments with her daughter were spent getting her ready for school.
The family is receiving counseling.
