Fire officials investigate cause of gas tanker explosion

The Jamaica Fire Brigade is hoping to determine the cause of  a fire last week that stemmed from the explosion of a  gas tanker in Mona,  St. Andrew .

Emilo Ebanks, spokesman for the Brigade, says a team is sifting through the evidence that was gathered from the scene.

The tanker caught fire on Thursday afternoon in the vicinity of  the Mona High School resulting in damage to houses and sections of  the electricity infrastructure.
