The police have seized three guns, rounds of ammunition and arrested five men in two incidents.
It is reported that about 12 o'clock Thursday morning, police on Hillcrest Avenue, Strathmore Gardens in St. Catherine searched a vehicle and its occupants.
Two .38 pistols and a magazine containing three rounds were seized.
Four men were arrested.
A few hours later, police in the Area Two Division, conducted a special operation in Steer Town.
During the search of a house, a 9 millimetre pistol was found in the bathroom ceiling.
One person was taken into custody.
