Four women and a man arrested following seizure of firearm and ammunition

Four women and a man were arrested on Monday, following the seizure of  a firearm and several rounds of  ammunition during a police/military operation in Salt Spring, St. James.

The Montego Bay Police reported that, about 5:30 in the morning, a property was searched. An AK-47 assault rifle and fifteen rounds of  ammunition were found in a garbage bag in the backyard.

This led to the arrests.
