Grenada received record remittances in 2023

Grenada received a record EC$208 million in remittances last year, as the Diaspora benefited from a robust recovery in advanced markets, especially the United States.

This is according to the Fiscal Resilience Oversight Committee annual report that will be laid before Parliament today.

Members of the Committee told a news conference yesterday that remittances increased by 14.7 per cent last year.

In 2022, the remittance inflow was EC$161.1 million.
