ISSA to discuss refunding patrons who were prevented from entering the stadium

The Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) is not ruling out the possibility of  refunding patrons who paid for tickets for the Boys and Girls Athletic Championships but were prevented from attending. ISSA Representative, Albert Corcho, says the matter is to be discussed.

ISSA has been under fire since the weekend, when several ticket holders who went to the event, were told they would not be accommodated in the National Stadium.

Mr Corcho stated that part of  the reason was the decision by the police to not allow additional patrons inside the venue due to safety concerns. The police eventually relented, but he concedes that by then several patrons had left.

The matter of  a refund will be under consideration at a soon-to-be-held meeting.
