JDF headquarters on lock-down in search for missing rifles

The Jamaica Defence Force headquarters at South Camp Road has been in lock down all of Saturday as the military commanders search to two rifles stolen from the armoury.

It was realised early Saturday morning that the two M16 rifles, forcig the shut down.

It is unclear how the two M16 rifles went missing.

Chief of Defence Staff Lieutenant General Rocky Meade today told Radio Jamaica News that all JDF members have been confined to the base.

Searches are being conducted in all green spaces, unoccupied buildings, derelict vehicles and scrap piles.
