Some residents of Marverly in St. Andrew are upset about Friday's guilty verdict handed down in the trial of head of Fellowship Tabernacle Reverend Merrick 'Al' Miller.
On Friday evening, they staged a protest on Washington Boulevard metres away from the church.
One of the protesters, Sean Samuels, told RJR News that Miller is a benefactor and heavily involved in community development.
“Why should (a man) run to a pastor for help - and then they charge the pastor? We need justice."
Miller, who was charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice, is to be sentenced on September 15.
