PNP calls for Holness to release 10-year statutory declarations to Integrity Commission

The People's National Party (PNP) has said Prime Minister Andrew Holness should follow the example of Opposition Leader Portia Simpson Miller and present the certified copies of his statutory declarations submitted to the Integrity Commission, for the last ten years.

The PNP, in a statement, said this needs to be done, if credibility is to be given to the information released recently by Mr. Holness, as the public has no way of determining that the documents were the same submitted to the Integrity Commission.

The PNP has also requested that Mr. Holness instruct the Commission to indicate whether it is satisfied with the declarations he has made.

It wants the Commission to state if Mr. Holness has ever been reported to the parliamentary leaders and the reason.

Mrs. Simpson Miller, on Monday, released financial records submitted to the Integrity Commission for the last 10 years.
