The St. Andrew North Police on Thursday seized a M16 rifle on Park Lane off Red Hills Road.
The assault rifle, with a magazine affixed, was found while the police were conducting operations as part of efforts to quell gang violence in the area.
A section of a rifle was also seized during the operation.
