Public feedback on Port Royal cruise port project to be sought in coming months - Knight

The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) has given an update on the timeline for the public to give feedback on the Port Royal cruise port development project.
 
Peter Knight, CEO of NEPA, said in a matter of months, there will be opportunities for the public to give detailed analysis and commentary on the environmental impact assesssment.
 
Stong opinions have been expressed about the project by environmentalists as well as community stakeholders, with the main concern being the effect on the environment.
  
Mr. Knight has sought to assure that despite the preliminary work taking place by the developer, public involvement will be significant. 
 
He said it is estimated that this segment of the Port Royal project will take place in the next four months. 
 
Mr. Knight was speaking Thursday on RJR's Beyond the Headlines.
