Search on for inmates who escaped Ocho Rios lock-up

The police have issued the names of  the five inmates who escaped from the Ocho Rios lock-up in St Ann this morning.

    

They are: 21 Nicholas Massop, who is charged with murder and illegal possession of a firearm; 50 year old Gary Ferguson, charged with unlawful possession of property; 27 year old Renardo Williams otherwise called Tanti, charged with illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition; 29 year old David Anderson, charged with rape; and 52 year old Leroy Laud, otherwise called Lucky, charged with illegal possession of a firearm.   

    

The inmates were discovered missing at 4 o'clock.

    

It is believed that they cut their way through the air conditioning ventilation system in the roof of the cell.

    

Various police teams from Area Two are searching for the inmates.
