DSP Neville Knight, addressing a town hall meeting in Old Harbour Bay on Wednesday
A senior police officer is condemning the actions of his colleagues who were involved in an altercation with a woman in Gordon Town, St. Andrew last weekend.
A video, that was posted online, showed the woman, who was resisting arrest and cursing the officer, being pulled by her hair on the ground. A male officer also knelt in her abdomen.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Neville Knight, Head of the Old Harbour Police, gave his views on the incident as he addressed a town hall meeting in Old Harbour Bay on Wednesday.
He said what happened in the incident is not the way for trained policemen to handle a situation with a female.
