Teenager linked to murders charged by police

A teenager who the police say has been linked to shootings and murders in the Kingston Central and West Kingston Police Divisions over the past few months, has been charged by detectives.
   
Terrence Grant,18, otherwise called "Grabba" was charged on Monday with two counts of  murder.
Grant, a resident of  Johns Lane in Central Kingston, has been charged with the fatal shooting of  Orlando Taylor, along Georges Lane on June 28.
     
The cops say he fled the community after the incident and while in hiding, shot dead a second man, Shakeem Cunningham, along Matthews Lane on August 2, during a gang feud.
     
The teen who was nabbed last week, is to appear before the Gun Court next week Tuesday.
And a gang member, who was on the Kingston Central Police's most wanted list, was also charged on Monday
      
Frank Whyte alias "Abba Doo", a member of  the Spanglers Gang, was charged with one count of  murder by the MIT.
Whyte, who surrendered to the police last week after two years on the run, has been charged with the murder of  Kareem Williams.
      
He was killed along Chancery Street in December 2012.
      
He's booked to appear before the Gun Court later this week.
