Thieves slaughter farm animals in St. Thomas

A St. Thomas farmer is counting his losses after thieves slaughtered five of his cows over the weekend.
    
It is reported that some time after 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, the farmer went to tend to his cows when he discovered five were missing.
   
He went in search of the cows and later found the heads and feet of the animals in bushes.  
      
The matter was reported to the police.
