Trial date for former Cash Plus boss yet to be set

More than five years after former Cash Plus boss, Carlos Hill, was charged in the country's largest ponzi scheme, a trial date is yet to be set.
 
Hill faced the Home Circuit Court today, but it was reported that prosecutors were still in the process of  submitting documents to the defence.
 
Hill who is to return to court on February 20 next year,is charged with fraudulently inducing persons to invest billions of  dollars into the ponzi scheme which later collapsed.
     
If  convicted he could be sentenced to up to seven years.
