Trial date set for men arrested for ganja in Burnt Savannah

A trial date has been set for two men arrested in connection with the seizure of over 1,200 pounds of ganja in Burnt Savannah, St. Elizabeth nearly five years ago.
 
Jermaine Jarrett and Renaldo Cunningham, charged with possession of, dealing in, trafficking of, conspiracy to export and taking steps to export ganja, are to go on trial on February 21, 2018.
 
The men had their bails extended when they appeared before the Black River Parish Court on Wednesday.
