A woman was fatally shot in Montego Bay, St. James early Monday morning.
She has been identified as 31-year-old Christine Johnson, an embalming officer from Bogue in the parish.
About 2:00 a.m., Ms Johnson was at a party with a man, when an argument developed between her companion and another man.
Ms Johnson walked away from the argument and proceeded to her car. But as she was about to drive off, one of the men allegedly pulled a firearm and shot Ms Johnson in the head.
The car crashed into an embankment.
Both men left the scene.
Ms. Johnson was pronounced dead at hospital.
