A 4.8 magnitude earthquake rattled Guadeloupe and some parts of neighbouring islands on Monday afternoon.
According to the University of the West Indies Seismic Research Centre, the tremor was felt around 12:42 p.m., about 17 km south southeast of Point-à-Pitre, Guadeloupe.
A few people in Martinique and Antigua reported feeling the tremor as well.
There were no reports of damage or injuries.
