Arnett Gardens rally to earn draw with Cavalier in RSPL

Defending champions Arnett Gardens had to come from two goals down to earn a 2-2 draw with Cavalier in their Red Stripe Premier League clash at the Stadium East Complex on Thursday. Goals from Kamoy Simpson in the 24th minute and Alex Marshall in the 34th minute had given Cavalier the lead over the league leaders.

But Vishunul Harris in first half stoppage time and Fabian Reid in the 60th, pulled Arnett Gardens level to earn a share of the points. Meanwhile, Ricardo Morris’ 25th minute penalty guided Portmore United to a 1-0 win over Harbour View in the day's late kick-off at Compound.

Arnett Gardens remain leaders on 23 points after 11 series of matches; two points ahead of Portmore United.  UWI FC and Tivoli Gardens are next on 19 points each, followed by Reno 18 and Cavalier 16, completing the top six.  Harbour View remain seventh on 13 points.
