Jamaican Alia Atkinson has continued her great medal run in the FINA World Cup, this time in the Tokyo leg as she won gold in the women's 100 metre breaststroke on Tuesday.
Atkinson was the only swimmer to go under the 1 minute, 03 second mark as she clocked 1:02.91 seconds, to beat Russian Yulia Efimova and Japan's Miho Teramura.
The meet ends on Wednesday with third placed Atkinson looking to overtake second placed Dane Jeanette Ottesen in the women's rankings.
