Carlos Brathwaite drafted for IPL

All-rounder Carlos Brathwaite was the highest West Indian drafted in the Indian Premier League draft on Saturday.

The seaming all-rounder came on the scene in December against Australia with quick fire fifties. He was bought for fourteen times his base price by the Delhi Daredevils for US $626,000.

Number one T20 bowler Samuel Badree joins Jamaican Chris Gayle at the Royal Challengers Bangalore for US $74,000.

Meanwhile, test and ODI captain Jason Holder was sold to the Kolkata Knight Riders at a price of US $104,000 while Dwayne Smith moves to Gujarat Lions from the Chennai Super Kings for US $343,000.
