The defeat for Portmore meant champions Arnett Gardens have closed within three points of the leaders after hammering second from bottom Sandals South Coast 5-0 at STETHS.

Fabian Reid led the way with a three timer, increasing his tally to a season-leading 14 goals. Javoni Simms in the 69th and Kemal Malcolm in the 75th minute, were also on the scoresheet. Tivoli Gardens fell one place to 4th after going down 2-1 to FC Reno at the Edward Seaga Sports Complex.

The defeat means Boys’ Town remain rooted at the foot of the standings on 14 points, while Humble Lion stayed 9th on 25 points. Meanwhile, the match-up between Montego Bay United and Harbour View at Wespow Park was postponed due to what organisers described as "circumstances beyond
their control".
