Dujon calls for changes to Windies team for second test

Voice of former West Indies wicketkeeper/batsman Jeffrey Dujon

Former Jamaica and West Indies wicket-keeper batsman Jeffrey Dujon, believes the frail make-up of the West Indies top order batting which included debutants Shimron Hetmyer and Vishaul Singh costs the team putting up a stronger fight in the first test defeat to Pakistan  at Sabina Park on Tuesday.

“To bring two inexperienced players into the first test was a mistake I thought; so you have one at three; Shai Hope who has just now come into test cricket at four and then the other one (debutant) at five, so your top order is vastly inexperienced,” said Dujon.

Meanwhile, the 81 test veteran Dujon also believes changes should be made to the current squad for the second test at Kensington Oval in Barbados on Sunday.

“I have mentioned that Jason Mohammed has merited being included in this squad. We definitely need to look at a few changes in the squad for the next test match,” said Dujon.
