Emancipation racemeet looks a go

About 125 entries have been received for this Saturday's race meet at Caymanas Park, following a meeting  Thursday morning between trainers and the promoting company, Caymanas Track Limited, CTL.

The parties agreed to a purse increase which will see 41 million dollars in additonak purse money this financial year.   The increase for lower level events will be about 14 per cent, while races in the $250,000 to $550,000 claiming category will see a purse increase of 8 percent.
