Grey joins Reggae Girlz squad in France

20 year old Mereya Grey joined Jamaica’s senior football team on Friday ahead of their debut appearance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in France. Head coach Hugh Menzies says Grey is the ideal replacement for the injured Kayla McKoy. Jamaica’s who is ranked 53rd in the world, actually has the youngest team at the tournament.

The coaching staff will work on set pieces and transition play during training on Saturday. The Reggae Girlz will bow into action on Sunday at 8 30 am Jamaica time against Brazil with live coverage on TVJ, TVJ SN, onespotmedia.com and Hitz 92 FM.
