India "A" take One Day Series lead over Windies "A"

India 'A' took a 2-0 lead in their five game One Day Series after beating the Windies 'A' by 65 runs at the Sir Vivian Richards Ground in Antigua on Sunday. Batting first, India 'A' piled up 255-8. Ruturaj Gaikwad led the way for India 'A' with 85 while Shubman Gill scored 62. Captain Manish Pandey was next best with 27 as Romario Sheperd bagged 4-36.

In reply, Raymon Reifer 71 and Shepherd 34, were the only standouts in the Windies 'A' innings as they were dismissed for 190. Navdeep Saini with 5-46 and Rahul Chahar 2-47, did most of the damage for India 'A'. Jamaicans John Campbell and Rovman Powell made 5 and naught respectively. The third game of the series will be played on Tuesday at the same venue. The Windies 'A' lost the opening game also by 65 runs.
