Jamaica wins U19 Volleyball tourney

Jamaica captured the Caribbean Under-19 men's volleyball title to clinch a spot at  next year's continental championship.

Jamaica withstood a determined fight from the defending champions Barbados in Sunday's title decider at G.C. Foster College, prevailing 25 - 22, 25-23, 25-16.

This is Jamaica's first ever title win at any level in an international volleyball competition.

Jamaica’s captain Jovan Thomas was the MVP of the tournament which also featured Haiti who finished third.
