Jamaican schools sweep Championship of America relays on final day at Penns

Jamaican high schools swept the three Championship of America relays for boys on Saturday's final day of the 128th Penn Relays at the Franklyn Field Stadium in Philadelphia.

The quartet of Ryeem Walker, Damor Miller, Malike Nugent and Lennon Green combined for Excelsior High to land the 4x100 metres in 40.45 seconds. KC and Herbert Morrison completed a Jamaican sweep of the top three places.

Meanwhile, Kingston College captured the 4x400 metres in 3 minutes, 11.86 seconds over Excelsior in 3:12.94.

Jamaica College took the 4x800m in 7 minutes, 42.37 seconds.

Elsewhere, the quartet of Oshane Bailey, Tyquendo Tracey, Ramone Barnswell and Sandrey Davison won the international men's 4x100 metres in 39.59 seconds.

The women's team of Jodean Williams, Yanique Dayle, Remona Burchell and Shockoria Wallace placed second in 44.11 behind Spain who did 43.97.
